Customization by the factory or the MEC-distributor: the battery manufacturer’s specifications, or a description of the particular charge application, are mostly sufficient for setting the correct charge profile.
A single charge profile consists of up to 5 individually configured, chain-linked, phases.  Each phase has settable current-, voltage and time limits, Ah-counting, charge status signaling and other. Coefficients for external temperature sensing can easily be set, voltage lost across long charge leads can be addressed and compensated for.
The charge routine may also be interspersed with a cell-balancing phase at set intervals, to be activated only after a given number of elapsed days or a set amount of Ah-hours charged into the battery.
